Pros: Features are easy to use because the program is so similar to many other editing programs. Easy to use, does 90% of PhotoShop can, price is much lower, good deal! PhotoStudio 6 offers intelligent, yet easy-to-use tools such as Face Beautify, Magic-Cut, and Magic-Film along with the editing tools that you have come to love in PhotoStudio. Version 6.0 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

The Arcsoft Panorama Maker 4 is OK. If you have a simple picture series, it will work OK. However, if you start clustering shots with slightly odd angles, it produces a distorted image and not all of the edges align. The software doesn’t save the panorama in layers, so you can’t hand correct misalignments later. It’s a pretty simple program, fun to play, but not a cure-all.

I recently bought a 1GB Fujifilm XD card and Panorama Maker 4 was included as a freebie. I was sceptical at first but i just followed the instructions and used a tripod (you must use a tripod) and the software stitches the photos together pretty much automatically. If you click on my name above you can see some examples on my homepage. I highly recommend this software to people wishing to capture the “feel” of a place…sometimes one photo just isnt enough.
PS: Horizontal, vertical and 360 degree panoramas are all possible with this software however ive only used 360 degree and horizonal ones so far. They turned out great!

I bought it and it can only install on a PC 4.0 and 2.0 are listed with Mac PC and this is not true. That is why I gave it a low score. What am I missing with this software????

Needed to scan vinyl LP covers (a little larger than 12 inches square). My scanner is capable of scanning 9 inches by 12 inches. Scan-n-Stitch is easy to use and produces excellent images. I scan each cover four times, top right, top left, bottom right and bottom left. Scan-n-Stitch assembles the four scans into one JPEG or TIFF image. This image can be edited using PhotoShop or other similar program. Sometimes the brightness of one scan is lighter or darket than the other scans resulting in an multi-brightness composite. I am not sure how to correct this.

I had a similar program from Arcsoft on my old computer and I loved it. I had alot of fun with it and everyone was always asking me to make pictures for them. I had alot of fun making things for family members birthdays etc. and everyone always got a good laugh when they saw my creations. I had alot of fun making t-shirt transfers with funny pictures of family and friends too. I also liked being able to scan in and make my own backgrounds. It gave me alot of options. I can’t wait to get this for my new computer because I have really missed using this program.

I’ve never had more fun with a computer program than I’ve had with Funhouse. Just add a face to one of the numerous templates, make a few clicks, and you’ve got a laugh until you cry masterpiece. I especially like the program’s ability to automatically match the complexion of the added face to the template. I’ve been doing projects with pics of my coworkers and they’ve loved them. They all think I’m a digital genious. Little do they know how easy Funhouse is to use.

This program came with my computer. It’s fun because you can scan a picture of you or a friend and stick their face on something. The 0 bill looks real at a quick glance, but is says The Bogus States of America. I made one for one of my friends.

PhotoImpression 6 is easy to use and has most of the features I’m looking for in photo editing. I have been able to restore old black and white photo’s that were damaged and this program works great in enhancing my older color pictures as well. I am very satisfied.

If you don’t have time to learn a big program like Adobe this is a great program. It has several tools to help you render your photos and create artwork with them. It has color filters and filters to create neat effects with your photos. This item is easy for anyone to learn without having to feel like you need to be a computer whiz.

Creater refuses to allow deployed military to play this, May 1, 2010
Military members that are deployed are frequent gamers. May carry over their XBox’s, Laptops, PS3′s, etc to the deployed location (Europe, Middle East, Africa, anywhere really). It’s one of the few things left to do that bring some joy from home and give us a chance to escape reality and just have fun.
This is the second game now I’ve found that REQUIRE a constant high-speed internet connection, just to play single player. The first I saw was Assassin’s Creed II and now this one, another high-anticipated game. What in the world are these companies thinking? They don’t even have servers that can handle the loads of people trying to sign on to the SINGLE PLAYER games, so you may find yourself waiting hours upon hours just to sign in. Then you’ll find yourself knocked off when the server slows down too much. [...] for this?
As far as the military community (hundreds of thousands of people) are concerned – NONE of us can every play these games while deployed, TDY or just traveling around the country.
I can understand companies doing what they can to prevent copyright infringement, but this is TOO FAR. You’ve alienated an entire corps of people and the hatred for this type of program requirement is growing drastically among the public. It’s time to wake up and release patches that will allow single player people to play these games with no internet connection at all. (that’s what install ID codes are for inside boxes at install).
Wake up Steam and fellow companies that keep this internet requirement insanity.

You know, I consider myself really tolerant of DRM and things like Steam that make us validate our product is legit at install etc…
BUT – there is a line, and this game definitely crosses it! I don’t want any singleplayer game needing an internet connection on at all times! I am already a little annoyed that any single player game would require an internet connection at install….i think they aught to have some avenue (like a call in number like MS does with windows) for people to validate without the need of the internet.
So, here I am, writing one of these reviews I never thought I would pen, but I just feel it needs to be done when I see this sort of thing happening.
Unfortunately I won’t be purchasing a game I would have been willing to spend 50$ on. I feel bad for the actual game developers to have their art so significantly diminished by this

I pre-ordered this game through Amazon and couldn’t wait to get it on release date, I’m been a Splinter Cell fan since it’s inception. I was very disappointment to look at the back and read that I have to have a permanent online connection, but since I got it and a 12Mbps down pipe, I figured I might as well install and play. Install was quick, but when I tried to play it, I could not connect to a server to play the game, waited an hour, two hours, four hours, still no go. This is a bad impression to me and I will never by another game with this DRM or permanent connection needed, my advice is to not purchase this game, this has been a huge disappointment. Why go through the trouble of having top notch hardware if you can’t even use it play the game, cause it’s been ran off a server. I must say, I do not understand the decision these execs make, but they have lost a customer here.
